All employers in South Africa are advised to join an employers’ organisation with one of the main benefits, to qualify to be represented by an official of the employers’ organisation during disputes that may be brought against the Farmer in the CCMA.

Labour Law Management Retainer

Rule 25 of the CCMA Rules ……..

Farmers who join My-agriportal have the option to join the National Employers Labour Association (NELA), who are equipped to provide properly qualified and experienced Representatives to represent the Farmers. NELA Membership fee is R300 per month.
A Farmer may also opt to be a member of any other registered employers’ organisation who qualifies in terms of the Labour Relations Act.
